Diving in Sipadan vs Mabul vs Kapalai

Although Sipadan Island is the main attraction due to its world-recognised and highly popular dive sites, there are many more dive sites in the surrounding areas that are well worth a visit.

Mabul Island, for example, has around 20 sites and the diving packages available tend to include at least 3 boat dives per day in Mabul itself as well as the surrounding areas of Kapalai which has 13 dive sites and of course Pulau Sipadan (please book your dive permit in advance).
