More about Pacific Inn Semporna
Pacific Inn pitches itself as your gateway to Sipadan and Mabul, and the description is accurate in the way that matters: a solid, well-run Semporna hotel whose private balconies deliver genuine panoramic views — the bay, the boats, the islands shimmering in the heat — which is more than most gateway-town lodging even attempts. Among the town's options it sits comfortably in the reliable middle: better finished than the backpacker inns, friendlier priced than resort rates.
The hospitality is the part guests mention: this is a hotel that behaves like it wants you back, which in a transit town is rarer than it should be. Rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned with the standard kit; the balcony is the upgrade worth requesting, because morning coffee over Semporna Bay before a boat day is a small luxury that costs nothing extra to enjoy.
Who it suits: couples and travellers spending two or more town nights — day-trippers doing the Tun Sakaran islands from a comfortable base, or divers bracketing an island stay who'd rather their Semporna nights be pleasant than merely functional. The jetty, seafront restaurants and shops are all within easy reach, keeping the boat-morning routine walkable.
