Ray Point

Ray Point はその名の通り、ルリホシエイが住み着いているポイントです。砂地に停泊したり、ウミウチワの間を滑るように泳いだりしています。中層にはミノカサゴやハタが陣取り、じっくり探せば小さな被写体もたくさん見つかりますよ。水深5〜15メートルと Open Water レベルから楽しめる簡単な地形であり、マブールの魅力を知るための最も優しい入門スポットのひとつです。

A word of honest expectation-setting, because we'd rather you hear it from us: visibility at Ray Point is often modest — 5 metres is a normal day. That's not a flaw, it's the trade this whole island makes: Mabul sits on the nutrient-rich continental shelf, and the same green soup that shortens the view is what feeds the extraordinary density of creatures. Five minutes by boat from the Mabul jetty
